My Wii has randomly stopped accepting or ejecting disks. They are still being detected when I push them slightly into the console because I can hear a whirring indicating that the Wii is trying to do something but not succeeding. The usual pull to take the disk fully in no longer occurs. I have tried a few simple fixes after troubleshooting online but it seems to be a major hardware fault which I doubt anything less than replacing the disk drive completely will fix. Needless to say I dont want to risk disrupting anything within the console by taking a look myself.I am looking for the swiftest and most cost effective repair I can find for the problem and look forward to hearing your quote.RegardsRobert Gent.
